Send and receive photos by text

When a client texts photos to your Quoti number, they show right in the conversation. You can also send a photo to a client from your phone's photo library, one photo per text.

Before you start

You need a Quoti number that can text. When texts open your phone's Messages app instead, the camera button is hidden and you can't attach photos from Quoti.

See photos a client sent

1. Tap Inbox and open the conversation.
2. Photos show inside the client's text, up to 3 per text.
3. Tap a photo to open it full size.

Send a photo

1. Open the conversation and make sure Text is selected under the text box.
2. Tap the camera button to the left of the text box.
3. Pick a photo from your library.
4. The photo shows above the text box. To take it off, tap Remove.
5. Add a few words if you want, then tap send.

You can send a photo alone, a message alone, or both together. The photo stays in the conversation with your text.

Limits

• One photo per text. To send more, send them one after the other.
• Photos go by text only. The camera button is hidden in Email and Note mode, and switching to one of them removes the photo you picked.

Tips

• Ask new clients to text you a photo of the job before you quote. It saves a trip.
• Send a photo of the finished work when you wrap up a visit.
