2. Who This Policy Applies To

Because our platform is used by businesses to manage their clients, we handle two types of data:

  1. Subscriber Data: Information about you, the service business owner (our direct customer).
  2. End-Customer Data: Information about the homeowners or clients you manage inside our platform.

Note: Regarding End-Customer Data, Quoti acts as a Data Processor. You (the Service Business) are the Data Controller and are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to collect your clients' data.

3. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide to Us
  • Account Registration: Name, business name, email address, phone number, and password.
  • Billing Information: We use a third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. We store your Stripe Customer ID and Subscription status.
  • Business Data: Your service menu, pricing logic, team member profiles, and business scheduling preferences.
B. Information You Input (End-Customer Data)

To provide our scheduling and CRM features, you may input data regarding your clients, including:

  • Client Names, Physical Addresses (for job sites), Email Addresses, and Phone Numbers.
  • Job details, photos of property, notes, and quote history.
C. Information Collected Automatically
  • Location Data (GPS): For the "On My Way" and "Live Map" features, we may collect the real-time location of your team members' devices while the app is active, to provide arrival tracking for your clients.
  • Usage Data: Log files, device type, browser type, and actions taken within the app (e.g., clicking "Upgrade Plan").

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  1. Provide the Service: Facilitating online booking, generating quotes, and managing your calendar.
  2. Communications: Sending automated emails and SMS (e.g., "On My Way" text alerts, Quote Approvals) on your behalf.
  3. Billing: Processing your monthly subscription, upgrades, and downgrades via the Customer Portal.
  4. Improvement: Analyzing usage trends to improve our conversion optimization features and user experience.

5. Third-Party Services (Sub-Processors)

We share data with specific third-party providers to make our app function. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

  • Bubble.io: Hosting and database infrastructure.
  • Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management.
  • Twilio / SendGrid / Postmark: Delivery of SMS and Email notifications.
  • Google Maps API: Geocoding addresses and calculating travel times/ETAs.

6. Text Messaging & Email Compliance

Our platform allows you to send transactional messages to your clients (e.g., "Quote Ready," "Job Complete," "On My Way").

Your Responsibility: As the user of our platform, you agree that you have obtained the necessary consent from your clients to send them text messages and emails. You are responsible for complying with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant communication laws.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active.
  • Cancellation: If you cancel your subscription (via the "Manage Billing" portal), your data will be retained for [X Days/Months] in case you decide to reactivate, after which it may be permanently deleted.
  • Deletion Request: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at [Support Email].

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (including SSL encryption) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and sending an email notification to active users.
