Add questions that change the price

Questions let the price fit the job. Each answer can add or remove a fixed dollar amount or a percentage, and the booking page shows every package already adjusted to the client's answers.

Add a question

1. Tap More → Services & prices and open a service.
2. Tap + next to Questions.
3. Type the Question, for example How many floors?
4. Under Assign to Services, turn on each service this question is for. The service you started from is already on.
5. Choose the Answer type: Text only, or With images to add a picture to each answer.
6. Under Answers, type an answer. Tap + to add another one.
7. For each answer, choose the Price impact, $ Fixed or % Percent, and enter the Impact value.
8. Tap Save question.

Enter 0 for an answer that doesn't change the price. A negative value lowers the price.

How Quoti works out the price

For each package, Quoti starts from its Base Price, then: - adds every $ Fixed answer the client chose, - adds every % Percent answer as a percentage of the base price, - rounds the result to the nearest $5.

Only answers to questions assigned to that package's service count. Percentages are always taken from the base price, not from the price after fixed amounts.

Example: a package has a base price of $200. The client answers 2 floors (+$50 fixed) and Many screens (+10%). The price is $200 + $50 + $20 = $270.

Another example: a base price of $149 with a +10% answer gives $163.90, so the page shows $165.

What clients see

Questions come right after the client picks their services, one question per screen. They tap one answer and the next question appears. A question assigned to two services is asked once.

Test your prices

1. On Services & Pricing, tap Preview & Test.
2. Tap Test pricing calculator.
3. Under Which service to test?, pick a service and answer the questions.

All package prices update as you answer, and the last screen shows each answer and the Total. The calculator doesn't round, so the booking page can show a few dollars more or less.

Change or delete a question

Tap the question in the Questions list to edit it. To remove it, tap Delete question, then Delete Question. Its answers are deleted too.

Tips

• Ask only what really changes your price. Three or four questions are usually enough.
• Use $ Fixed for extras like a second floor, and % Percent for things that scale with the job, like heavy dirt.
