Offer add-ons and promo codes
Add fixed-price extras clients can add before they book, and create promo codes for a percentage or a dollar amount off, entered at checkout.
Add-ons are fixed-price extras clients can add on the last step before booking, like gutter cleaning with a window wash. Promo codes take a percentage or a dollar amount off when the client enters the code on that same step.
Add an add-on
- Tap More → Services & prices.
- Next to Add-ons, tap Add.
- Enter the Add-on name and the Fixed price.
- Tap the Image area to add a picture (optional).
- Under Assign to Services, turn on the services that should offer this add-on.
- Tap Save add-on.
What clients see
On the Verify & Confirm step, your add-ons show under Add-On Services with their name and price. The client taps + to add one, and its price is added to the total. Tapping the check mark removes it.
An add-on only shows when the client picked a package for one of its services.
To stop offering an add-on, open it and tap Delete add-on, or turn off all its services under Assign to Services.
Create a promo code
- Tap More. On the Your booking page card, tap Edit.
- Tap Page Customization.
- Under Sections, turn on Discount code.
- Type a Code name, for example SPRING20.
- Tap Discount type and choose Percentage % or Fixed amount $.
- Enter the Discount value: 20 for 20%, or 25 for $25.
- Tap Create Code. The code shows under Your codes.
How clients use a code
On Verify & Confirm, the client types the code in Add discount code and taps Apply. Capital letters don't matter. The discount shows as its own line and lowers the total. - A percentage is taken from the total at the moment the client taps Apply, including add-ons already added. - Applying another code replaces the first one.
Stop a code
Under Your codes, tap the trash icon next to the code. Codes don't expire on their own, so delete a code when your promotion ends.
To remove the code box from your booking page, turn off Discount code.
Tips
- Use short codes that are easy to type on a phone.
- Give each add-on a clear name and a round price, like Screen cleaning, $40, so clients can decide in a second.
