Set up your crews

A crew is a group of team members who work together, with its own hours, days off and services. Quoti Ai and online booking use each crew's hours, days off and services to offer times.

Before you start

Only the owner and admins can add or change crews. To put people in a crew, invite them first (see Add team members).

Add a crew

1. Tap More → Team & crews → Add a crew.
2. Enter a Name, for example "Crew A".
3. Pick a Colour: Green, Orange or Purple.
4. Tap Create crew. It starts with your business hours, and the crew's screen opens.

To change a crew later, tap it under Crews on the Team & crews screen.

Set up the crew

• Takes new visits: when off, Quoti Ai and online booking skip this crew. The list shows it as Paused.
• Members: turn on each team member who works in this crew.
• Weekly hours: turn each day on or off, and tap the start or end time to change it. Tap Copy business hours to match your business hours. This replaces the crew's current hours.
• Days off and special hours: tap Add day off or special hours, pick a Date, choose Day off or Special hours (with a start and end time), then tap Add. Remove one to send that day back to the weekly hours.
• Starting point: where the crew starts its day. It's used to plan travel.
• Speed: under Revenue per hour, enter how much work the crew does in an hour. Quoti shows how long a $300 job takes them.
• Services: leave All services on, or turn it off and pick the services the crew does. Online booking only offers this crew for the services it does.
• Notes for Quoti Ai: for example "Residential only. No roofs above 2 storeys." Quoti Ai reads these notes when it picks a crew for a visit.

Tap Save changes when you're done.

Give visits to a crew

• New job: pick the crew under Team on the New job screen.
• Existing job: open it and tap the crew row (Tap to change the crew).
• One visit: open the visit, tap its date and time, and change the Team.

Delete a crew

Open the crew and tap Delete crew. Its weekly hours and days off are deleted too, and this can't be undone. If the crew still has upcoming visits, Quoti asks you to move them to another crew first.

Tips

• Add vacations as days off ahead of time, so online booking and Quoti Ai don't offer those days.
• Turn off Takes new visits instead of deleting a crew that only needs a break from new bookings.
