Add a client and their properties

To add a client, tap + → Client, enter their name and address, add a phone number and email, and tap Save. If they have more than one place you work at, add each one as a property on their client page.

Add a client

1. Tap + → Client. The New Customer screen opens.
2. Enter the First Name and Last Name.
3. Start typing the Address and pick it from the suggestions. Add an Apt, Suite, Unit or Floor if needed, and check the city, province, postal code and country.
4. Tap Add Phone number and Add Email to fill them in.
5. If you want, open Internal Notes and write something for your team.
6. Tap Save. The client's page opens.

You can also add a client while you create an invoice or a quote: tap Add a client → New client.

Add another property

A property is an address where you do the work. A client can have several, such as a home and a cottage.

1. Open the client and tap Details & Properties.
2. Under Properties, tap Add Property.
3. Give it a Property name if you want, for example "Cottage".
4. Type the address and pick it from the suggestions. Add a unit number if needed.
5. Tap Save.

When you create an invoice for this client, tap Use another address to pick the right property.

Edit or remove a property

1. Open the client → Details & Properties.
2. Tap the property.
3. Change the name or address and tap Save, or tap Delete to remove it.

Edit the client's details

1. Open the client → Details & Properties.
2. Change the First Name, Last Name, Business name, Email or Phone Number.
3. Tap Save.

Tips

• For a business client, add the company in Business name on their details.
• When Quoti has a street photo of the client's first property, it shows at the top of their page. Tap it to open Details & Properties.
• If you add someone who's already in your clients, Quoti may flag them as a possible duplicate. See "Merge duplicate clients".
